Mid Winter Goodies

All over the northern hemisphere this is the time of year we try to outwit nature’s darkness by lighting bonfires, fireplaces and candles, stringing lights on trees and houses, and turning our attention to each other while we celebrate ancient rituals and memories. We give and receive presents, and begin forming resolutions for the New Year, and eat special foods..

Of course much revolves around those special foods and Sarkozy Bakery has lots of choices for your holiday. I can't describe everything here, but I will start with our distinctive cookie platters. Ours are beautiful, tasteful and really, really tasty!

Chocolate Babka has become a new holiday hit. Layers of citrus infused buttery dough surround layers of chocolate in this spectacular treat. Toast slices lightly and add more butter if you dare!

Made since the 1400s in Germany, with the addition of butter approved by the Pope in his Butter Brief in 1491. Be sure to slice it thinly, toast it and butter it.

A simple quick bread with a bright complex taste, our Cranberry Orange Bread is moist, sweet/tart and redolent of citrus. And we have Polenta cake and Rum balls and dinner rolls and Galettes, and Chrusciki (Angel Wings), and Stuffing Mix and and and

There is lots more, and I am including a product list.

Please order as soon as you can and certainly by the 21st!

We look forward to seeing you soon and wish you the best of holidays!

Love,

All of us
